Let’s face it, if you love to shop, why not learn how to shop smarter? Shopping online is one of the most easiest and convenient ways to shop because you can do it at any time of the day, from almost any location. Buying the best products at the best prices is no longer hard with a multitude of online stores to choose from. It’s always the simple things in life that make shopping fun, like when you buy a personalised puzzle and get it exactly how you want. There are many online stores which sell personalised puzzles, but many of the larger organisations don’t sell them with gift boxes, instead they come flat packed in a plastic sleeve. Not really very appealing if you intend on giving it as a gift. Its also not very practical because you don’t have anywhere nice and neat to store the puzzle pieces. Whereas companies like DigiGifts have already thought ahead by selling puzzles that come with gift boxes. It just makes sense to come with a nice little box to store it in and prevent pieces frm being lost. So its obviously worth shopping around and not just purchasing from the first company you see who sells puzzles, otherwise you may eventually be disappointed by the end result. When you shop online its important to pay close attention to exactly what you are buying to avoid paying in the long run. Online you can easily compare prices, product specifications and information about the company your purchasing from; all from the convenience of your home or desk at work. There are all sorts of companies on the internet related to whatever products or services you are wanting to buy, some are more fancy than others. It tends to be a general rule of thumb that the websites that look and work best are run by better established companies; however this is not always the case. Smaller companies which have less fancy website may be able to offer products at cheaper prices too. Some of the companies with smaller website may actually be the original manufacturers of the products you are after, or may have only just recently gotten online and haven’t spent the time or money investing in a fancy website.

Only another human being can understand your design requirements

Because only another human being can understand what you’re trying to do, it takes a real editor to help you do it right. Human expertise are used to ensure quality and accuracy of the end result. Online and offline editing tools don’t usually interpret complex, fancy designs and layouts very well because they can’t see the “big picture”, whereas a human editor can. Most software won’t notice if a name is spelt incorrect, or if a sentence is broken up over multiple lines incorrectly. It won’t tell you if the layout just won’t work they way you are trying, instead if will just print it as you provided it. One very good example of why a human editor are better than automated software is highlighted in a case of a lady who recently came to us wanting a canvas printed with three of her children featured in it. She had previously gone to a larger company who mass produced giftware products and they didn’t review the project before printing it, therefore two of the children were partially cut off the sides of the canvas. She reluctantly enquired through us about printing the picture for her again, but was worried that the outcome would be the same. We assured her that we have humans that edit every single project to ensure accuracy and quality. The size and shape she initially desired was not suitable for the shape of the photo she provided, so we gave her alternative sizing choices to choose from before proceeding to print her canvas. She was extremely satisfied to say the least with the completed product. Another much simpler example was of one of our customers who initially used an overseas company to purchased a coffee mug featuring a photo on both sides. This particular company offered a really good price, much cheaper than many local companies, which is what drove the customer towards their website. The online tools enabled easy uploading of their photo, positioning of the photo on a mug template and then following through to complete the order. Unfortunately the online tool was not 100% accurate and the product they received in the mail didn’t look quite like how they designed it online. Since this item was a gift for an upcoming friends birthday, redesigning and reordering from this company again was too late. Human editors can be perceived as slowing down the ordering process, however we believe that if they help you achieve a higher quality and accuracy, then why would you waste your time or money elsewhere. DigiGifts staff work with you to get your design right before sending it to the printer.
