We
can also supply 100% Cotton Canvas or Polyester / Cotton Canvas. The 100%
cotton canvas which is best suited to artwork prints is generally more
‘authentic’ or ‘traditional’, rougher and has
a less uniform weave than poly/cotton. The poly/cotton canvas generally
prints colours brighter, offers a more smooth uniform weave than cotton,
which is ideal for photopragraphic reprints.
Laminate Options:
All our canvases are laminated by default, however you may choose to not
laminate your canvas and go for a more athentic look. Please note that
we do recommend the lanimated option as it helps protect the canvas from
humid weather conditions.
Rolled or Stretch Options:
We can also provide your canvas as either stretch or rolled. A rolled
canvas is simply when we print your image onto the canvas, roll it up
and send it to you. It is not stretched and wrapped around any frame.
Wrapping Options:
Please let us know before placing your order if you would prefer alternative
wrapping options.
If there are any important features right near the edge of the frame,
then we may not recommend the standard Gallery Wrap Option. Instead we
may recommend a Mirror Wrap Option where a part of the image is mirrored
onto the side of the frame. Alternatively, we can leave the edges of the
frame as is (white canvas), or print a coloured border (No Wrap Option).
- Gallery Wrap Option:
After cropping the image to the frame proportions, part of the image is
required to wrap around the frame. In some cases you lose the important
parts of the image around the sides.
- Mirror Wrap Option:
We can print your canvas either with a Mirror Wrap effect, where part
of the image is printed onto the sides of the canvas to avoid loosing
the important parts from the centre area.
- No Wrap Option:
No wrap option is where we can print your canvas with no wrapping of the
photo or artwork provided onto the sides of the canvas. This means the
sides are left white (or canvas colour) or can be printed in a colour
to match with your home decor.
- Pixel Bleed Wrap:
The image is cropped to the frame proportions and does not wrap around
the frame. The edge of the canvas can be left white (canvas colour), or
you can pick a different colour to match your home decor. If you have
a white border, we've tinted the border pink just so you can see where
it is.
